Brecon Music Live has teamed up with BBT members The Mid Wales Rhythm & Blues Club and The Brecon Tap to bring seven live-music dates to Brecon from late October through to New Year’s Eve.
It is a programme built around the energy of live performance and the character of a welcoming town-centre venue, with free-entry events ranging from oompah, rock and pop to blues, roots, alternative folk and a lively New Year celebration.

- Friday 30 October — The Bavarian Dragons
Free entry, with music from 9pm. Expect high-energy oompah, rock and pop, with fancy dress encouraged. - Saturday 31 October — Halloween with 40 Miles Apart and The Vulcan Straight
Free entry, with music from 9pm and a 10% discount for anyone arriving in fancy dress. - Sunday 15 November — Erin Harpe and Countryman Jim
Free entry, with the performance beginning at 9pm. An intimate evening of acoustic blues rooted in the Mississippi Delta tradition. - Saturday 5 December — ENW
Free entry, with music from 9pm. Alternative folk with mellow melodies and an experimental edge. - Friday 11 December — Onika Venus and her band
Free entry, with music from 9pm and a feel-good mix of roots reggae, soul, R&B, pop and funk. - Friday 18 December — Babafrai
Free entry, with music from 9pm. Hear a raw, foot-stomping blend of gritty Delta blues and rural roots. - Thursday 31 December — New Year’s Eve with Crazy Alien
Welcome 2027 with Crazy Alien, DJ Kedzy and special guests. Entry is free, with entertainment from 9pm.
A shared programme for Brecon
The collaboration brings together the event-making experience of Brecon Music Live, the roots and blues programme of The Mid Wales Rhythm & Blues Club and the relaxed setting of The Brecon Tap.
