Mountain biking is often at its best when shared, and BikePark Wales is inviting riders to do exactly that at its upcoming Women’s Ride Day on Sunday 7 June 2026.
Designed to bring together women of all abilities, the event combines guided riding, coaching, social laps and plenty of opportunities to build confidence on the trails in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Whether you’re completely new to bike parks or a seasoned rider looking to meet like-minded women, the day offers a chance to ride, learn and enjoy some of the UK’s most celebrated mountain bike trails.
A Day for Every Rider
The event begins with a welcome gathering before riders head out onto the trails.
Those new to BikePark Wales can join an introductory guided session on the Green-rated Kermit trail, led by experienced guide Colin, focusing on confidence-building and bike park basics.
More experienced riders can head straight onto the Blue trails, including Sixtapod and Willy Waver, alongside BikePark Wales ambassadors, staff and supported riders.
As the day progresses, participants can choose to ride independently, join informal groups or take advantage of advice and encouragement from the BikePark Wales team.
