The Terraplanes Blues Band were named UK Blues Awards Emerging Act of the Year 2023 and have quickly built a reputation as one of the most exciting live acts on the circuit. Their line-up is as sharp as their music: Craig Shaw’s sophisticated bass, Andy Hutt’s versatile drumming, Nick Scrase’s powerful vocals and guitar, and Eduardo Allen’s flamboyant harmonica (and trademark white suit) combine to create a tight, cohesive sound that crackles with energy.
This return to The Muse comes almost a year after their sell-out debut in Brecon. That first performance left no doubt that the Terraplanes are a band to watch, with audiences praising their drive, chemistry and sheer stage presence. Jim Kerslake of Mid Wales Rhythm & Blues Club summed it up: “It was immediately obvious that they are an exceptionally tight and cohesive outfit … the perfect backdrop for a thrilling night of blues.”
Special guest act Eleven29, featuring seasoned musicians Floss and Dave, will open the evening. Their set takes in blues, western swing, country, Tex-Mex and Americana, laced with vocal harmonies, humour and grit. Expect a refreshingly unpredictable performance that sets the tone for a night to remember.
