The Talgarth Farmers Market returns on Saturday 18 October (9am–12pm) at Talgarth Town Hall, bringing together growers, makers, and food producers from across Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons).
This much-loved local market is a highlight of the month, offering a true taste of the National Park. Visitors can expect a lively mix of fresh produce, handmade crafts, local flowers, woodwork, artisan skincare, tool sharpening and more – all under one roof.
The market is a community-led event that celebrates everything local: good food, skilled craftsmanship, and the people who make Talgarth such a welcoming place to visit. Run with the support of Talgarth Town Council, Black Mountains College, and Talgarth Mill, it’s an event that captures the best of small-town life in the Brecon Beacons.
If you’ve not been before, it’s the perfect weekend stop — pick up your shopping, chat to local producers, grab a coffee, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s also a great reminder of the power of buying local: every purchase supports independent businesses and helps keep rural communities thriving.
