Talgarth Farmers Market has announced its 2026 dates, bringing a monthly showcase of local food, crafts and independent producers to the heart of Talgarth from April through to September.
Held at Talgarth Town Hall (Market Hall) on the third Saturday of each month from 9am to 12pm, the market offers visitors and locals the chance to buy seasonal produce, handmade goods and locally produced gifts while supporting small independent businesses.
The confirmed 2026 market dates are:
• Saturday 18 April
• Saturday 16 May
• Saturday 20 June
• Saturday 18 July
• Saturday 15 August
• Saturday 19 September
Each market features a changing mix of local producers, craft makers and food suppliers, creating a friendly community atmosphere and a great reason to visit Talgarth.
If you’re visiting the market, why not spend some extra time exploring Talgarth itself. This traditional market town sits on the edge of the Black Mountains within Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park and is known for its strong independent business community.
Visitors can also call into MillTalgarth Mill, a beautifully restored working watermill with a bakery, café and shop selling local products, or enjoy breakfast, coffee or lunch at Triggs at the Mill, both located just a short walk from the market.
Talgarth is also a great starting point for exploring the wider area, including walking routes, heritage sites and nearby independent shops.
Farmers markets play an important role in supporting local supply chains and keeping spending within the local economy. They also give visitors the opportunity to meet producers directly and discover the stories behind local food and craft businesses.
Talgarth Farmers Market continues to grow as a valued community event and a great addition to any visit to this part of the National Park.
