Experience something truly special this season with Light Up Canoeing, returning to Brecon for a limited time. This one-of-a-kind activity invites you to glide through the tranquil waters of the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal, surrounded by a glow of colour and reflection.

Departing from Brecon Canal Basin, next to Theatr Brycheiniog, each canoe is decorated with vibrant LED lights — creating an unforgettable display as the water comes alive with movement and colour. Under the guidance of experienced instructors from Argoed Lwyd Outdoor Education Centre, you’ll learn a few paddle skills before setting off to enjoy the calm evening atmosphere of the canal.

It’s an experience that’s as relaxing as it is remarkable — perfect for couples, families, or friends looking to do something a little different in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
