Blues fans in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) still have time to secure tickets for a special live performance this weekend as Grammy-nominated harmonica player Mark Hummel heads to Brecon for an evening of world-class acoustic blues.
Taking place on Sunday 22 March at The Muse, Brecon, the concert brings together internationally recognised musicians alongside respected UK blues artists for what promises to be a memorable night for music lovers.
Headlining the event is Mark Hummel, an American harmonica player known for touring and recording with some of the biggest names in blues music. His performances are known for their authenticity and energy, making this a rare opportunity to see a musician of this calibre performing locally.
Joining him will be acclaimed pianist Bob Hall, recognised for his work with legendary artists including Alexis Korner, Peter Green and Charlie Watts, and widely regarded as one of Britain’s leading boogie-woogie pianists.
Also performing is Dave Peabody, a three-time UK Acoustic Blues Artist of the Year, known for his guitar work and traditional blues style.
Special guests Mike Bird & Friends will also be performing, adding to a strong line-up celebrating acoustic blues traditions.
