It’s a triple trophy start to the year for the Black Mountain Adventure team as they kick off the spring season in superb style!

On the night, the team were honoured to receive triple trio of trophies for….

• · The Family-Friendly Award – recognising our commitment to creating memorable, safe and welcoming experiences for families of all ages.
• · The Customer Service Excellence Award – celebrating the dedication of our team in delivering outstanding service to every guest who visits us.
• · The Entrepreneur of the Year Award – awarded to our watersports shop for its innovation, growth and contribution to the local adventure community.

Winning three awards in one evening is a huge moment for an independent business and for everyone who has been part of their journey over the past three decades. As a family-run centre, the BMA goal has always been simple: to create a place where people can enjoy the outdoors, try something new, and leave with unforgettable memories.

As one of the very first adventure companies in the Beacons, Black Mountain was originally set up by The Durham Family who are still at the helm to this day. They started out offering canoe hire and kayak instruction alongside mountain bike hire & guided trips in the early 1990s. These days Black Mountain offers a whole range of exciting outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking, rafting, gorge walking, archery, high ropes courses, land karting, mountain biking, abseiling and clay pigeon shooting.

Popular with families, stag & hen weekenders, kids adventure days, youth groups, corporate team building days, couples looking for a more adventurous romantic weekend away, Black Mountain cater for pretty much everyone who wants some outdoor adrenaline and plenty of fresh mountain or river air.
