The Mid Wales Rhythm & Blues Club has revealed a standout line-up for its 12th Anniversary Gathering, set to take place at The Muse, Brecon on Saturday 16 May 2026.
Bringing together some of the finest blues, roots and rhythm talent from across the UK, this all-day event promises a rich mix of styles — from acoustic sets through to high-energy headline performances.
A Day of Blues, Roots and Live Energy
Kicking off from 4pm, the afternoon opens with Paul Keddle & Friends, a respected figure on the South Wales blues scene whose decades of playing bring authenticity and depth to the line-up.
At 5pm, Elsie Franklin takes to the stage, blending acoustic country blues, ragtime and jazz influences with a distinctive, stripped-back sound.
The evening builds with Carley’s Wreck & Ruin at 6pm, delivering raw, rhythm-driven blues with a rock ‘n’ roll edge, before Terraplanes Blues Band (duo) bring their gritty, soulful delta blues and R&B style to the stage at 7:15pm.
Headline Set to Close the Night
Headlining the anniversary event at 8:30pm is the Jon Amor Trio, 2026 UK Blues Award nominees known for their powerful live performances and high-energy blend of blues and funk.
A Celebration of Live Music in Brecon
Hosted at The Muse — home of the Mid Wales Rhythm & Blues Club — the event marks 12 years of bringing live blues music to the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
With doors opening at 3pm, a licensed bar on site, and a full day of music, this anniversary gathering is set to be one of the standout live music events of the spring.
