Start the New Year with the uplifting sound of orchestral music as the Welsh National Opera (WNO) Orchestra brings its acclaimed A New Year’s Celebration to Theatr Brycheiniog on Saturday 3 January. Celebrate 2026 in style with a spirited programme of Viennese waltzes, polkas and dances, designed to lift the spirits and welcome the year ahead.
Under the direction of Concertmaster David Adams and joined by WNO’s newest Associate Artists, this concert showcases sparkling classics from Johann Strauss II, Dvořák, Brahms and more — a perfect mix of rhythm and resonance for both first-time listeners and seasoned classical music fans.
