This autumn, join Llyn Syfaddan History Group and the Brecknock Society in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park for a very special evening celebrating one of the area’s most important historical finds – the Llangors Log Boat.
First raised from Llangors Lake in 1925, this rare archaeological discovery helped shape the collection at Brecknock Museum and continues to inspire interest in the early history of the region. The evening marks the 100th anniversary with talks, displays, memories and a brand-new publication exploring the lake’s rich past.
