Get ready for colour, creativity and community spirit at the Llandovery & District Carnival on Sunday 25th May! With a fun-filled parade, stalls, entertainment and more, it’s the perfect family day out – all in support of local causes.
Llandovery & District Carnival takes place on Sunday 25th May 2025 – one of the most vibrant and anticipated events in the local calendar.
This year’s theme is “As Seen On TV”, so expect a parade bursting with costumes inspired by famous characters, shows, adverts and unforgettable moments from the small screen.
The Carnival procession sets off at 1pm from Ysgol Rhys Prichard and winds its way through the town, bringing music, colour and laughter to the streets. Whether you’ve joining in or just coming to watch, it’s a brilliant way to celebrate the creativity and spirit of the community. After the parade, the fun continues at Llandovery Rugby Club, where you’ll find family-friendly entertainment, food and drink stalls, a funfair, and more.
Entry is £5 for adults and free for under-16s, making it a great value day our for families. Best of all, every penny raised goes to local charities and initiatives, helping support the incredible groups and individuals who give so much to the local community. A presentation evening will be held after the Carnival to celebrate and think those who make this event – and our town – so special.
