25 July – 2 August 2026 | Llandeilo and the Tywi Valley
Step inside artists' studios, meet talented makers and discover the creative heart of the Tywi Valley during the Llandeilo Arts Trail 2026.
Formerly known as the Tywi Valley Open Studios, the Llandeilo Arts Trail returns for nine inspiring days, inviting visitors to explore the workspaces of 20 artists and makers based within a 15-mile radius of Llandeilo. From painters and ceramicists to textile artists, jewellers, printmakers and sculptors, it's a rare opportunity to see creativity in action and meet the people behind the work.
Unlike a traditional exhibition, the Llandeilo Arts Trail takes you directly into working studios where artists welcome visitors, share their creative processes and, in many cases, demonstrate techniques or offer hands-on workshops.
Whether you're an experienced collector, looking for an original piece for your home or simply curious about how art is created, every studio offers something different. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, watch demonstrations and purchase artwork directly from the maker.
The Arts Trail is the perfect reason to spend a day – or several – exploring one of the most picturesque parts of South West Wales.
Alongside the studios, visitors can enjoy Llandeilo's independent shops, cafés, restaurants and galleries before venturing into the surrounding Tywi Valley, renowned for its historic landscapes, country estates and scenic countryside.
With studios spread across the area, every journey becomes part of the experience, offering the chance to discover hidden villages, quiet lanes and beautiful rural landscapes along the way.
