A festive weekend in the heart of Hay-on-Wye
During the Hay Festival Winter Weekend at Hay Castle, Memorial Square will be transformed into a bustling Winter Weekend Market hosted by Hay Markets.
Visitors can enjoy a lively two-day celebration featuring street food, local producers, makers and a vintage flea market, with stalls filled with handmade crafts, festive gifts and delicious treats.
Running alongside the Hay Festival’s programme of author events and performances, the market adds a vibrant street scene to the town’s already buzzing weekend — a perfect opportunity to explore, shop, and savour the atmosphere of Hay in full festive swing.
