Autumn in Herefordshire sets the scene for this challenging yet rewarding road cycling sportive. Expect apple orchards, black-and-white villages, cider country, and sweeping climbs into the Black Mountains with dramatic views. Routes range from 78 to 172 km, with well-stocked feed stations offering toilets, mechanical support, and plenty of food and drink.
The short and medium routes circumnavigate Hereford before heading into scenic hamlets and apple orchards, while the long route ventures over the Woolhope Dome and into Worcestershire before rejoining riders near Burghill. All routes include a stop at Drover Cycles in Hay-on-Wye before the final leg over the northern Black Mountains.
