Potter, ceramic designer and The Great Pottery Throwdown judge Keith Brymer Jones comes to The Angel Hotel for an entertaining journey through the history of ceramics.
In his new book Firing Earth, Keith explores how pottery has shaped cultures and economies around the world, from Roman kilns and wine jars to industrial ceramics and modern studio practice. Expect warmth, humour and plenty of surprising stories about the makers, materials and objects that connect us to clay.
Keith will be interviewed by Kate Humble at this Book-ish event.
