This volunteer-led charity plays a vital role in conserving the Park’s landscape, maintaining access, and helping more people experience the beauty of this special place.
For more than 60 years, the Society has brought together people who share a deep love for the outdoors — whether that’s through its popular guided walks, advocacy for responsible recreation, or the ongoing work of volunteers who help protect the National Park for future generations.

Why Their Work Matters
Bannau Brycheiniog’s landscapes are living, working environments — rich in history, wildlife and community.
The Park Society helps ensure these places remain open, cared for and appreciated. Their members support footpath restoration, access improvement and conservation awareness, helping visitors understand how fragile the balance between recreation and preservation can be.
