Winnie's Hayloft is a one-bedroom self-catering cottage for two on Brecon Road in Bwlch, midway between Brecon and Crickhowell. Its large roof windows look across the Usk Valley towards Llangynidr Mountain, giving couples a light, peaceful base for exploring Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons).
The ground floor has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Upstairs are the sitting room, one double bedroom and a wet-room-style shower room. Wi-Fi, bedlinen, towels and gas central heating are included, with a cot or cot bed, highchair and stair gates available on request.
A small rear courtyard has garden furniture and a barbecue. Dogs are welcome by prior discussion and must remain downstairs. Visitors can unload outside the cottage, then use its dedicated space across the road; secure bike storage in an adjoining garage can also be arranged with the owner.
The village pub and farm shop are close by, and a circular walk from Bwlch reaches the countryside around Llangorse Lake. Brecon, Crickhowell, the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and wider mountain routes are within easy reach.
