Beacons Farm Shop at the Welsh Venison Centre is a family-run farm shop, butcher and café at Middlewood Farm near Bwlch. Established by the Morgan family in 1985, it brings the farm's award-winning venison, lamb and beef together with useful local food, deli goods, homeware and gifts.
The butcher's counter specialises in the farm's venison, lamb and beef alongside other meat and game. Shelves and counters carry bread, cakes, cheese, deli goods, hampers, local beer, wine and other produce for visitors planning a meal, picnic or gift.
Visitors can stop for tea, coffee and cake, browse the homeware and gift collection and look across the fields where the family's deer, sheep and cattle graze. Families are welcome, and anyone relying on a particular access or dog arrangement should contact the team before travelling.
The current shop pages carry opening times, product availability and online-ordering options. The farm shop is on Middlewood Farm outside Bwlch, so visitors should use its own directions rather than travelling to Crickhowell.
