Discover Brecon through town views, waterside spaces and cultural landmarks chosen by the local visitor team.
Visit Brecon is the staffed visitor-information centre and local tourism website for Brecon. From its base in Lion Yard, the team helps visitors discover the town's events, walks, shops, food, culture and practical travel information.
Visitors can ask the team for ideas, directions and help shaping a day or longer stay. The current website brings together an events calendar, town map, local walks, history, attractions and useful information for exploring Brecon and the surrounding National Park.
The centre sells Ordnance Survey maps, local walking and history books, postcards and visitor literature. Visit Brecon's White Badge Town Tour Guides can also help groups and individuals explore the stories behind Brecon's military, religious, theatrical, agricultural and cultural heritage.
Centre opening hours, forthcoming events and guided-tour arrangements can change, so visitors should use the official site or contact the team before making a special journey.
