The Barn at Brynich is a family-run wedding, events and retreat venue in a converted eighteenth-century hay barn just outside Brecon. Set in open countryside in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, it offers a flexible, practical approach to celebrations, meetings and residential gatherings.

Weddings and celebrations

The Barn is licensed for civil marriages and civil partnerships and can seat up to 120 guests for a ceremony. Couples can choose indoor or outdoor ceremony settings, use the fully licensed bar and work with the venue's catering partners to shape the food and style of their celebration. The Grain Shed provides a second adaptable room for smaller gatherings, supporting activities and quieter breakout space.

Meetings, retreats and private events

Brynich hosts everything from one-to-one meetings and strategy sessions for around 30 people to corporate events for 50 or more delegates. Rooms can be arranged to suit the group, with Wi-Fi, presentation equipment, event coordination, catering and free parking for up to 60 cars. The cottages, venue rooms and outdoor space can also be combined for residential team gatherings, wellbeing retreats, workshops, private functions and wakes.

Stay together at Brynich

Four self-catering cottages sleep up to 22 people in total and form part of the wedding and residential-event offer. The Miller's and Wagoner's each sleep nine, while the Hayloft and Woolpack each sleep two. The venue and cottages are dog friendly, and the grounds give groups space to relax together across a longer stay.

Access and practical information

The venue has permanent and temporary ramps, accessible toilets with support rails, disabled parking and double-door access. Woolpack Cottage is arranged on the ground floor with widened doorways, a walk-in shower and bathroom support rails. The main barn has uneven flagstone flooring, so visitors with access requirements should read the current access information and speak to the Brynich team before booking. Catering partners can work with dietary requirements and allergies when these are discussed in advance.
