Porth‑y‑Parc is a working organic smallholding on the eastern edge of Bannau Brycheiniog, right on a footpath leading to Sugar Loaf. It features two luxury self‑catering cottages—The Old Barn and Ty Gwyn—nestled among fields and National Trust woodland, with spectacular walks and wild places right from the door

The Old Barn:
Traditional Welsh‑style barn conversion with three bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin) and sleeping up to 6
Eco‑materials: local slate, oak, lime plaster, underfloor heating powered by an air‑source heat pump; retains bat and barn‑owl access
Open‑plan kitchen/dining/living area with wood‑burner, utility room, spiral staircase to bedrooms, family bath and ensuite “Bat Room” wheelchair‑friendly wet‑room
Outside: patios north & south, BBQ, games barn with table tennis/football; welcomed to enjoy home‑grown cake, eggs, lamb
Ty Gwyn:
Built in 1970, modern three‑bedroom cottage sleeps 6, with underfloor‑heated kitchen, wood‑burner, and south‑facing glazed windows
Two bedrooms downstairs, sharing wet‑room; upstairs double bedroom with luxury bathroom and roll‑top bath; enclosed south‑facing garden and BBQ
Shared features:
