Pontganol Cottage is an eighteenth-century, two-bedroom holiday cottage in lower Llangynidr, close to Crickhowell. It sleeps three guests, with an additional occasional place available by arrangement, and combines period character with thoughtful facilities for couples and small families.
The cottage has a king-size bedroom, a small double bedroom, two living areas, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower. Fast fibre Wi-Fi, a wood-burning stove, books, games and a separate snug make it a comfortable base in every season.
The large garden includes several sitting areas and a summerhouse, while off-street parking for two cars and lockable bike storage add practical convenience. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for a charge by prior arrangement and must remain downstairs, off the furniture and not be left in the cottage unattended.
Guests can follow the short lane directly towards the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, the River Usk, village pubs and routes into the surrounding hills. Current rates and availability are published online, but bookings are made by contacting the owner.
