Muddy Boots Hiking Adventures provides private guided walks across west, south and mid Wales, including Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Carmarthenshire, the Gower Peninsula and the Preseli Hills. Walks are discussed in advance and matched to the group's aims, experience and fitness.
The current programme ranges from gentler half-day outings to moderate full-day walks and demanding mountain routes. Published examples include the Towy Valley, Black Mountains, central Bannau peaks, Gower and Pembrokeshire, while a bespoke day can be discussed for visitors with a particular landscape or objective in mind.
Muddy Boots is led by Carmarthenshire-raised Mountain Leader Cari Evans. Cari discusses route choice, footwear, clothing and equipment before the walk and can lend selected spare kit where available. Mountain weather and terrain can change quickly, so the final route may be adapted for the group's safety and the conditions on the day.
Published prices normally cover up to four people, with larger group arrangements and solo offers available by enquiry.
