About:
Limitless Trails is a Crickhowell-based trail running events company creating unique, eco-friendly ultra-marathons, trail races and endurance challenges across Bannau Brycheiniog National Park and the Black Mountains. Founded and led by local runners, they bring deep terrain knowledge, professional support and a ‘leave-no-trace’ ethos to every event

What they offer:

  • Ultra-distance races:

    • LT‑100 / LT‑50 (July): Self-navigated 50 mi or 100 mi ultras from Llangynidr, spanning the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains, with tracking and full support

    • Blacks to the Beacons (May): 50 mi, marathon and half-marathon routes with 10,442 ft climb, starting from Perth Y Pia & finishing at Llangynidr

    • Beast of the Beacons/Beast of the Blacks (Apr): 10 / 20 / 40-mile challenges across varied terrain, canicross friendly, all with generous cut-offs

  • Race philosophy: self-navigation, plastic-cup and tape-free, fully staffed checkpoints offering vegan food and hot meals, and tracking options

  • Support & community: Small, friendly fields with excellent communication, volunteer care, event village, free hot food, physio, recovery sauna/ice baths and community feel

Why we love them:
Limitless Trails delivers epic, intimate trail races that feel personal, well-organised and deeply connected to the landscape. Their commitment to sustainability, community and runner support—whether you're going for 10 km or 100 miles—sets them apart
