Lakeside glamping, family time and outdoor adventure at Beacons Bluff Escapes.
Beacons Bluff Escapes is a family-run, dog-friendly glamping site at Lower Llandewi, near Erwood and Builth Wells. Six pods look across a peaceful lake, with walking country around the Begwns, the Black Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) within reach.
Each heated, double-glazed pod sleeps up to four and has a private en-suite shower room, kitchenette, Wi-Fi and an outdoor seating and fire-pit area. Some pods also have a wood-fired hot tub, while others provide simpler lakeside comfort; visitors should compare the current pod types when booking rather than assume that every stay includes a hot tub.
A dedicated gear and drying room gives guests space for wet boots, coats, dog equipment and cycling kit. Secure bike storage and a pump station are available, with parking outside each pod and an on-site EV charger. A gentle two-mile lakeside loop starts on the property, with wider hill and valley routes close by.
Families are welcome, with a high chair and travel cot available on request. Well-behaved dogs can stay for the current pet fee but must remain with their owners, must not be left unattended in a pod and are normally kept on leads around the working farm. Visitors should read the current pet and farm-safety guidance before arrival.
Individual pods can be booked through the current online journey. Groups wishing to reserve the whole site need to contact Emma and Andrew directly so that capacity, dates and arrangements can be agreed.
