Wet-felting workshops and original textile art near Llandovery
Fabulous Feltings is the studio of textile artist Jane Evans, whose colourful wet-felted work draws on landscapes, travel and the natural world. Jane creates one-off wraps, throws, wall hangings, vessels and smaller gifts using wool, silk, vintage fabrics and other fibres. Bespoke commissions are welcome.
Visitors can also spend a creative day learning wet-felting in Jane's riverside studio in the Upper Tywi Valley. The relaxed, hands-on workshops suit beginners as well as people with previous experience, with small groups allowing plenty of individual guidance. Studio workshops normally accommodate two to five participants, with private sessions for friends, birthdays and hen parties available by arrangement.
Jane can also provide mobile half-day workshops, talks and demonstrations for schools, community organisations and other groups.
