Climb, ride, tackle high ropes and stay on site: Llangorse brings activities and group-friendly accommodation together in one countryside setting.
Llangorse Multi Activity Centre is a family-run indoor and outdoor adventure centre near Llangorse Lake, welcoming individuals, families, schools, youth organisations and business groups. Established in 1958, it offers activities, instruction, accommodation and catering in one National Park location.
Visitors can choose from indoor climbing and bouldering, high ropes and aerial challenges, zip lines, archery, abseiling, horse riding and instructed group sessions. Options range from family activity sessions and climbing courses to residential school programmes and organised group adventures. Ages, abilities and booking arrangements vary, so check the individual activity before travelling.
Accommodation includes camping, camping pods, two group bunkhouses sleeping up to 51 people in total and nearby self-catering choices. Some stays can be booked online while schools and larger groups arrange their programme directly with the centre.
Base Camp Café serves meals, light bites, cakes and drinks, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and group catering tailored to dietary requirements. Current opening and catering arrangements should be checked with the centre.
The team can build programmes for schools, youth organisations, clubs and business groups, combining instructed activities with accommodation and catering. Corporate training and team-building visits can be shaped around the group's aims, length of stay and abilities. The centre advises visitors with individual access requirements to discuss the most suitable activities in advance.
