Brecon Cathedral Christmas Fayre Returns This December

By j.bell on 13/11/2025

Brecon Cathedral’s much-loved Christmas Fayre is back on Saturday 6 December from 12pm, bringing festive music, local makers and seasonal cheer to one of the most atmospheric settings in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons).

This free community event fills the Cathedral with some of the finest local craft stalls, offering handmade gifts, artwork, decorations and treats — ideal for anyone looking to support independent makers this Christmas.

Visitors can enjoy performances throughout the afternoon from:

  • Brecon Cathedral Choir
  • Alive and Kickin Community Choir
  • Brecon Town Band
  • Talgarth Male Voice Choir
  • Aberhonddu and District Male Voice Choir

You’ll also find Santa’s Grotto, plus cakes, bakes and warming brews served inside the Cathedral — a perfect way to spend a winter afternoon in the lead-up to Christmas.

With its beautiful setting and a strong line-up of local talent, the Christmas Fayre is always a highlight of the seasonal calendar in Brecon. All are welcome.
