Wales Tourism Week 2025 celebrated the people, places and partnerships that make Wales a distinctive destination for visitors.

During the week, Brecon Beacons Tourism represented its members and the wider Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) visitor economy at a reception in the Senedd, Cardiff Bay. Organised by the Wales Tourism Alliance, the event brought tourism leaders, destination organisations and elected members together to discuss the value of the visitor economy.

BBT used the opportunity to speak up for rural and independent tourism businesses, strengthen national relationships and highlight the area's mix of outdoor experiences, dark skies, food, culture and community.

Speakers and industry representatives discussed priorities including sustainable growth, staffing, destination management and the economic contribution of tourism across Wales.
