Glanusk Estate is a historic, family-run country estate in the Usk Valley near Crickhowell, within Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Across 3,000 acres, it brings together self-catering and catered stays, a caravan and glamping park, weddings, corporate events, filming locations and bookable country pursuits.

Stay at Glanusk

The estate has five self-catering holiday cottages and the fully catered Penmyarth House. Options range from smaller hideaways such as The Tower and Oak Retreat to Garden Cottage, The Library and Glanusk Lodge, which sleeps 12. Penmyarth House adds an exclusive-use setting with its own gardens, swimming pool and tennis court. Several properties welcome dogs, and the estate's direct booking routes show the current capacity, access arrangements and pet policy for each stay.

Weddings, corporate events and filming

Glanusk offers distinctive indoor and outdoor settings for weddings, private celebrations, filming and business events. Corporate hire can include board meetings, away days, product launches, workshops, leadership or wellbeing retreats and client entertainment, with presentation facilities, high-speed Wi-Fi, parking, disabled access and breakout space. Groups can also combine their programme with estate experiences such as fly fishing, clay pigeon shooting, guided walks, yoga, private dining and outdoor challenges.

Caravan stays and time outdoors

The riverside caravan and glamping park, estate grounds and permissive footpath give visitors several ways to spend time outdoors. Anglers can find the separate BBT profile for fishing at Glanusk Estate, while current public events, open-garden dates and other seasonal opportunities are listed by the estate when available.

Plan the right visit

Because Glanusk covers several properties, venues and outdoor settings, facilities and access differ across the estate. Visitors should compare the current information for the particular cottage, event or activity and contact the Glanusk team before booking if they have access, group or practical requirements.
