About:
Led by wild-food expert and author Adele Nozedar—accompanied by her dog Lis—Brecon Beacons Foraging offers immersive, family-friendly walks exploring the edible flora of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Their approachable experiences mix identification, tasting, and storytelling in stunning woodland and valley settings
What they offer:
Regular half-day group sessions departing from The Angel Hotel, Abergavenny, on the last Sunday of every month (March–October) — children attend free (1 per paying adult)
Midweek or bespoke walks near Brecon (for groups of 4+) at £40 per adult; flexible location and route
Botanical Gin Foraging: 3‑hour workshops where participants gather botanicals, blend their own 300 ml infused gin, and enjoy a seasonal cocktail — from £50 plus travel (if >10 miles)
Gift vouchers, team-building options, school events, family sessions, and accessibility-considerate routes (including wheelchair-adaptable trails)
Why we love it:
Adele’s walks foster curiosity, connection, and care for wild food. They're designed to delight all ages—the pace is gentle, the insights fascinating, and the locations breathtaking. Plus, the botanical gin twist adds a playful, memorable element
