Join a guided 7.5km circular walk from Craig-y-nos Country Park to Penwyllt and discover how the geology above and below ground shaped this former industrial community.
The walk follows a slight variation of the Penwyllt Fforest Fawr Geotrail, exploring the links between limestone, silica, caves, quarrying, brickmaking, tramways and the people who once lived and worked here.
The event marks UNESCO’s International Day of Geodiversity, which falls on 6 October. This walk takes place on the closest weekend day.
