We are delighted to welcome Hay Castle Trust as a new member of Brecon Beacons Tourism.
Set at the heart of Hay-on-Wye, Hay Castle brings together remarkable historic buildings, changing exhibitions, thoughtful events and welcoming spaces for visitors and the local community. Its current offer also includes a café and flexible spaces for weddings, celebrations, business events, workshops and community use.
History with new reasons to visit
The Castle gives visitors another way to explore the story and creativity of Hay-on-Wye. A changing programme of exhibitions and events means that the official website is the best place to check what is happening and confirm current opening information before travelling.
Fungi Town returns to Hay-on-Wye
One of the exciting dates ahead is Fungi Town 2026, taking place across Hay-on-Wye from 2–4 October. Hay Castle is one of the festival's principal venues, with talks, films, food, art, workshops, forays and activities planned around the town.
