The Mid Wales R&B Club returns to The Muse in Brecon this June with a special acoustic performance from acclaimed blues rock guitarist Jack J Hutchinson — the only Welsh date in his intimate summer 2026 acoustic tour.
Taking place on Saturday 6 June from 8pm, the evening will showcase the blues and roots side of Hutchinson’s music, featuring stripped-back performances, new material written especially for the tour and selected covers from artists who have influenced his songwriting career.
Hutchinson’s latest album Battle Scars recently reached the Official Blues Chart Top 5, with Classic Rock describing the release as “genuinely spiritual”. Over recent years he has toured extensively across Europe, America and Brazil, sharing stages with artists including FM, King King, Steve Cradock of Ocean Colour Scene, BlackBerry Smoke and Jeff Beck.
Support on the night comes from Aled Clifford of Henry’s Funeral Shoe, performing a solo set of original songs and covers drawn from across his musical catalogue.
Hosted at The Muse in Brecon, this promises to be a memorable evening for blues, roots and live music fans visiting Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park this summer.
