Half Term Adventures in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons)

Families looking to get outdoors this May half term can enjoy a series of adventure activities at Argoed Lwyd in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, with archery, canoeing and guided mountain walks all taking place across the week.

The sessions are designed to help children and adults alike try something new while exploring the landscapes of the National Park in a fun and active way.

What’s On This Half Term

Archery Tasters – Tuesday 26 May

Channel your inner Robin Hood and test your aim with a family-friendly archery session.

Sessions available:

  • 9.30am
  • 11.30am
  • 2.30pm

Cost:
£18 per person
Duration: 1.5 hours

Canoe Tasters – Wednesday 27 May

Take to the water for a relaxed and enjoyable canoeing session on the canal.

Sessions available:

  • 10am
  • 1.30pm

Cost:

  • £35 per adult
  • £30 per child

Duration: 2.5 hours

Guided Mountain Walk – Thursday 28 May

Explore the landscapes of Bannau Brycheiniog with a guided mountain walk offering fresh air, big views and a full day outdoors.

Time:
10am – 4pm

Cost:

  • £65 per adult
  • £45 per child

Duration: 6 hours
