Families looking for ways to get children outdoors this May half term can now book onto the Adventure Programme at Parkwood Outdoors Dolygaer, set within Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
Running across the May half term holiday, the programme is designed to get children active, outdoors and off screens, combining adventure, teamwork and confidence-building in a safe and supportive environment.
Each activity day runs from 9:15am to 4:15pm, giving children the chance to fully immerse themselves in the landscape and try something new.
Led by experienced instructors, the sessions are designed to be both fun and engaging, with a focus on participation and enjoyment.
Parkwood Outdoors are also offering a range of half term discounts to make it easier for families and groups to take part:
These options make it easier to plan a full week of activity or join with friends.
The “Digital Disconnection” approach encourages children to step away from screens and spend time outdoors, building confidence, resilience and friendships along the way.
Set in the dramatic landscape of the National Park, Dolygaer offers a natural playground where children can explore, learn and challenge themselves in a positive environment.
