A familiar name in the world of exploration and adventure is returning to his roots this April, as Martyn Farr hosts a special book signing event in Crickhowell.
Born in the town, Martyn Farr is internationally recognised as a record-breaking cave diver, explorer, author and photographer, known for pushing boundaries underground and uncovering miles of previously unexplored cave systems.
Now, he’s bringing that experience above ground with his latest book, Beautiful Brecon Beacons — a striking collection of high-quality photography capturing the landscapes of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
This event offers a rare opportunity to meet one of the area’s most remarkable adventurers, hear more about his work, and explore a visual celebration of the National Park through his lens.
The book itself is designed to inspire both visitors and locals, showcasing the landscapes that make this part of Wales so special — from sweeping mountain views to lesser-known corners of the Park.
Hosted at Book-ish in Crickhowell, this relaxed afternoon session invites visitors to drop in, meet Martyn, and pick up a signed copy of the book.
