A Taste of Talgarth – Community Food Event at Talgarth Mill

3 May 2026
Location: Talgarth
Address: Talgarth Mill, Talgarth, Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park

A Taste of Talgarth is set to bring an afternoon of food, ideas, walking and community activity to Talgarth Mill on Sunday 3 May 2026, hosted by Kate Humble.

This special fundraising event combines conversation, exploration and local food experiences, all supporting the ongoing maintenance of Talgarth’s historic working mill in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.

What’s happening

The afternoon begins with an engaging discussion between Kate Humble and author Ben Rawlence exploring whether communities can grow more food locally and strengthen local supply networks.

Visitors can then join a relaxed three-mile guided walk around Talgarth, followed by a community feast celebrating local produce and a charity auction to support the Mill.

Free children’s trails and craft activities will run throughout the afternoon, making this a welcoming event for families as well as food lovers and those interested in sustainable local living.
