Jo Nugent brings to our board a wealth of hospitality, marketing and destination-development experience, grounded in her role as Sales & Marketing Manager at The Angel Hotel in Abergavenny.

With a sharp focus on travel-trade and international touring, Jo has played a key part in positioning The Angel — and the wider South-East Wales region — as an attractive destination for both domestic and overseas visitors. She often collaborates with destination partners including regional visitor-economy bodies and is active within Visit Monmouthshire, helping to strengthen local tourism networks and shared marketing efforts.

Beyond her professional contributions, Jo is known for her energy, generosity, and commitment to community-spirit: she regularly takes part in physical challenges, including marathons and half-marathons, to raise funds for her chosen charities. (This personal dedication reflects the same drive she brings to our board.)
