The Stables Café will be open from 10am to 5pm across both days, with Mary and Giacomo serving up a delicious menu of homemade hot lunches, teas, coffees and cakes. A full menu will be announced soon — but expect comfort food at its best.
From the end of November, the Penpont plantation opens for choose-and-cut Christmas trees. Wander through the fields, take your pick, and bring home a tree that’s been grown using sustainable, nature-friendly farming principles.
Both traditional and non-drop varieties are available, with no chemicals used and Shropshire sheep naturally managing the grass between the trees. There’s no need to book — just bring your wellies, wrap up warm, and remember an old sheet or duvet cover to carry your tree home.
As the year draws to a close, join a communal sauna session to pause, reflect, and recharge before Christmas. Sessions will be available in both mixed and women-only groups, creating a calm and welcoming space to mark the Winter Solstice.
Bring a flask, gather by the fire, and enjoy one of the most peaceful moments of the season. Spaces are limited — book early to secure your spot.
