What's on in & around the Brecon Beacons this May Bank Holiday weekend.

By j.bell on 29/04/2024

A step away from the usual and some new events that will hopefully become fixtures in the events space.

Brecon Cathedral 4 & 5 May 2024.

"May the fourth be with you" medieval style with a combat arena, Vikings in a raiding camp & wheelbarrow jousting. Just a few of the events happening in and around our spectacular Cathedral.

Events are free unless otherwise stated

Llandovery Farmers Market

Saturday 4 May 2024

This brand new market will be held on the first Saturday of the month in 2024, from 4th May till 5th October.

The location is the historic Market Square in the town centre (postcode SA20 0AA).

The market is open from 10am – 2pm.
Up to date information can be found on Facebook: www.facebook.com/llandoveryfarmersmarket

Llandovery Farmers Market’s key aim is to principally offer produce that has been grown, reared, caught or processed from within 25 miles of Llandovery. We will prioritise processed food and drink that contain as many local ingredients as practically possible. We want customers to have confidence in knowing where their produce came from.

Good luck to all involved in this new community event.
