Cantref Adventure Farm is the perfect place for a family day out this half term come rain or shine. Cantref has a great mix of animals, indoor and outdoor play and hands on shows and activities.
They offer a jam packed programme of shows every half an hour throughout the day including everybody’s favourite Bottle Feeding the cute baby lambs, Pet handling where you get to stroke Rabbits and hold Guinea Pigs, Mr Ev’s Mini Panto, Animal Encounter Tractor Ride where you get to see some of the farm’s larger animals and rare breeds and marvel at the stunning views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains and Pony Rides which include a Rosette.
The highlight of the Show programme is the hilarious Pig Racing Show where you get to cheer on Cantref’s celebrity pigs as they race around the track even tackling a few jumps.
To complement the show programme Cantref has a range of play from a large heated Indoor Soft Play Area, Ball Cannons, Pedal Tractors, Role Play Houses and outside there are Paddle Boats, Jungle Swamp Boat Ride which is great for the whole family to work as a team, Water Wars a hilarious game involving firing water balloons at your family and friends and Europe’s longest Sledge Ride which is a favourite with the adults!
The highlight of half term will be Wednesday 27th of May when Fireman Sam will be coming to Cantref for the 1st time! Fireman Sam will be making appearances at intervals throughout the day. Back by popular demand Cantref will also be running it’s “Own a Pony Day” on Wednesday 27th of May, which is the perfect gift for any pony mad child this half term.
