By j.bell on 11/11/2025

We’re delighted to celebrate Wales Ambassador Week 2025, taking place from 17–23 November, shining a spotlight on the people and places that make our region special.

The week highlights the growing network of Ambassadors across Wales — individuals who share their passion and knowledge to help visitors get the most from their stay. Here in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, the Ambassador Scheme offers a free, online training opportunity for anyone working or volunteering in tourism, hospitality, or the wider visitor economy.

Discover the Bannau Brycheiniog Ambassador Course

The Bannau Brycheiniog Ambassador Course helps participants deepen their understanding of the National Park’s unique landscapes, culture, and heritage. Through short online modules, Ambassadors can learn at their own pace — exploring everything from sustainable tourism to local legends and hidden gems.

By completing the course, participants gain the confidence to share their knowledge with guests and visitors, creating a more authentic and rewarding visitor experience.
