Get ready for a weekend of food, fun and some celebrity induced competitions...

Tomorrow the Brecon Beacons National Park will be celebrating their very own food festival, with over 70 producers descending on Brecon Market Hall to promote their local produce.

Not only will you get to wander the sweet scented stalls, but you'll also get to enjoy celebrity chef cook-offs and demonstrations - BBC weather presenters Derek Brockway and Sue Charles are due to don their baking gloves for a bake off. There will also be a family bake off offing children the change to show that they can mix it up in the kitchen.

All this while you search for perfectly gorgeous local grub, cider and ales to take home with you. Exhibitors will include Snowdonia Cheese, Redstone Brewery, Cowpots Ice Cream and the Parsnip Company, while a whole area will be dedicated to celebrating the 'Taste of Talgarth'.
With all that food and fun in one place, it comes as no surprise that it all comes spilling out onto the streets of Brecon, with apple pressing demonstrations drawing the crowds and local butchers adding to that festival feel by offering freshly cooked burgers and hot dogs.
The food festival will take place 10am - 5pm.  For more information, call 01874 623366 or visit www.breconbeacons.org
