On Saturday 12th September Talybont on Usk will be holding its first ever Canal Raft Race. This will be brilliant fun and not only for spectators! Why not think about entering a team of four and using the event to raise money for a charity of your choice too? Build your own raft then see how fast you can get down the course on the canal.

There will be cash prizes for the fastest raft and the most creatively decorated so you can go down a technical route or just get plain crazy.

Everyone is welcome and there will be a bbq, music and prize giving back at the village hall in Talybont from 4pm.

The race starts at 3pm so, even if you aren't in a team, feel free to come along and cheer along the rafts.
