As supporters of the Slow Food Movement, they have decided to support their Forgotten Foods Campaign which champions choice, flavour and the varied landscape and wildlife associated with traditional farming.

The Sunday Slow Grill is to be held outside on the terrace once a month on the following days – Sunday 4th May, Sunday 15th June, Sunday 13th July and Sunday 24th August.

A celebration of good food, good
company and good wine for all the family!

They are going to use Badger Face Welsh Mountain Sheep (a source of meat which is not widely available) and many other locally sourced products.

This Sunday 4th May there will also be a guided tree walk around Gliffaes grounds in the morning, taking in some 40 different species, both native and exotic from 11am followed by the delicious lunch at 1pm.
