This year St Michael’s Hospice is bringing something quite extraordinary to Wales. Inspired by the global ‘Colour Run’ craze, the Paint Runner will celebrate health, happiness, and creativity, while also giving something back to your local community.
Saturday 27th June. 10.00am registration. 11.00am paint off! At the Royal Welsh Showground
Runners (or walkers) will start a 3 mile course dressed in white: after passing through five colour-blasting stations, they will finish the run with smiles as bright as the rainbows they are covered in. The day is all about having fun with friends, family and like-minded people of all ages, shapes and sizes.
As you run around The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Showground, marshals will cover you in multi-coloured powder paint. The paint is 100% non-toxic and biodegradable, and easily washes off so you can go wild and get as colourful as you can!
This promises to be a fantastic family-friendly event not to be missed.
£7.50 children, £8.50 student, £9.50 Adult, £29 Family (up to 4). This includes all the entertainment, paint and a pair of coloured neon reflective sunglasses!
You can purchase an official Paint Runner T-shirt and bag of throwing paint for just £4 prior to 29thMay. Both items are available on the day with the throwing paint used in our festival area for a mass release!

Your entry fee covers the cost of running the event. We rely on sponsorship to help raise the funds needed for St Michael's Hospice to be able to offer its services free of charge to patients and families in Mid Wales, at a time when they need it most. We are grateful to you for raising as much sponsorship as you can: whatever you raise is deeply appreciated and will make a difference to our patients and their families. You can raise pledges during sign up and we’ll have the paint ready to collect on the day. All pledges must be honoured by Monday 13th July.
The fun starts straight away as DJ Roddy Hankin entertains you with classic hits designed to get groups dancing.
After 5K of getting plastered in paint, the fun continues with local bands playing live as runners celebrate crossing the finish line.
More paint will be available to help keep you in the party mood. You can also enjoy some extra activities around the area including refreshments, stalls, inflatables and games.
And all the fun of the day will be directly benefitting the Hospice.
