Reading the Wild: Where Nature and Words Meet This May

By j.bell on 03/05/2025

This May, the wild landscapes of west Wales will become a stage for words, ideas and creativity as the Reading the Wild | Darllen y Gwyllt festival unfolds.

Taking place 9–10 May 2025 near Llandovery, on the western edge of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), the festival invites participants to explore the connections between nature and literature through workshops, readings and conversations in some of Wales’s most beautiful countryside settings.
