The national park’s first walking festival of the year kicks off with some fantastic events such as Nordic walking sessions, foraging rambles, barefoot walking, bushcraft academies, stargazing and more.

This year, the festival will be as exciting as ever and incorporate not just one but two fantastic town centre championships , the return of the amazing Iron Mountain Sportif, a spectacular road race and much more!
The programme will boast a mix of themed and special interest walks with shorter and longer options, different paced options to suit everyone, from the novice walker to the seasoned peak-bagger! This year will be even ‘ greener’ with focus on public transport to highlight the Hay Ho! Bus and showcase the great opportunities for car-free walking that the area has to offer.
With three to twenty mile walks to choose from, experienced guides will take you across spectacular trails rich in local history. Enjoy stunning walks in the Wye Valley through ancient woodland to an isolated Polish Chapel & War Memorial and much more.
